Claylight Series

The ClayLight Lamp series is a family of ceramic light fixtures constructed in collaboration with ceramic artist Sharan Elran. Made of Clay, Porcelain and metal they explore the link between these materials and light. using different types of perforations and material thickness create different light environments and patterns.

Dwarf's Helmet Desklamp

This lamp is a combination of a stainless steel perforated head and a dark clay base, connected by a slightly pewtered nickel plated flexible arm.
The half dome head reminds us of a dwarf's war helmet, hence the name.

The Clay Base is built by ceramic artist Sharan Elran.
The lamp has a knob on its base that activates a touch dimmer for three levels of light, on and off.
All of the electrical parts are UL listed, The 8' cord is black with a white tracer.

Uses a 35W xenon bulb that is twice more efficient in its energy use than a regular incandescent (equivalent to 60-75W incandescent), has a longer life span of 5,000 hours and a warm color light quality.
