Claylight Series

The ClayLight Lamp series is a family of ceramic light fixtures designed with ceramic artist Sharan Elran. Made of Clay, Porcelain and metal they explore the link between these materials and light. using different types of perforations and material thickness create different light environments and patterns.

Claylight Porcupine Desklamp

This porcupine shaped clay lamp gives a downwards task light and light textures around it. It has a touch dimmer knob on its base that activates it for three levels of light, on and off.

The shade is made of white clay that was burnt slowly and the base is made of clay and glazed in matte white. Both by ceramic artist Sharan Elran. All of the electrical parts are UL listed.

Supplied with a 35W xenon bulb that is twice more efficient in its energy use than a regular incandescent (equivalent to 60-75W incandescent), has a longer life span of 5,000 hours and a warm color light quality.
