The Weaver is a bespoke lighting device that projects seemingly three-dimensional light structures and exposes the reflections cast off the surface of an augmented mirrored disc, revealing its micro-topography as a spatial lightscape. It contains a system composed of a light source and a reflector that project onto the room’s surroundings. As the augmented reflector revolves, light beams reflect off its specular surface, transcribing its geometry in light — making visible what is not easily apparent to the naked eye.

The Weaver is designed to accept interchangeable reflectors. Each reflector’s unique surface geometry generates a distinct light pattern, creating a different atmosphere and dynamic lightscape in the room. As viewers gaze onto the projected light drawing, they enter a suspended space of wonder within an ever-changing lightscape — similar to the cyclical, meditative quality of watching waves or a fire.
