Spike 5 is the outcome of learning into the seam lines in porcelain slip casting. This lighting fixture celebrates these fault lines in a decorative way by purposely creating a mold with many seam lines, showcasing the evidence of the casting process. The Spike pendant is made of white translucent porcelain that shines in an amber tone with different thicknesses of porcelain transmitting different intensities of light.

My pendants arrived today! I was anxious opening the outer box...it looked like something heavy had been set on it...(FedEx clearly paid no attention to the "fragile stickers all over the box) but the pieces were so carefully (and beautifully!) packed within that all was well. I can't wait until our kitchen reno is finished so they can be installed. They will be gorgeous.
